Information Architects (iA) has started work on the follow-up to its Web Trend Map series, this year to cover the world of Twitter (instead of domains).
Called Big Bang, the idea will be to represent — using a series of circles positioned inside a grid of content categories — the 140 top twitterers. A shortlist has already been made public, and iA invites everyone to add/remove names on a public spreadsheet.
The images shown are just sketches, with the end product promised to take on the form of “a late sixties, early seventies object that your parents would have put on their wall slightly influenced by some LSD flashback.”
The release date has yet to be announced.
