“Ever” is Hoppek’s way of addressing Western stereotypes of Japanese culture. Pieces include “Sushi For Ever,” a series of photos and paintings portraying a woman wrapped up as a rice ball, and the third edition of Hoppek’s cult “porn” magazine, La Vagina.

The show is on now at Diesel Denim Gallery Aoyama’s second-floor installation space, and runs until July 12. Works from the show, as well as an original art t-shirt, are available for purchase.
